An old post from an astrologer has gone viral once again after Virat Kohli became a father for the second time. The former India skipper, on Tuesday (February 20), announced that he and his wife Anushka Sharma have welcomed their second child – son Akaay.

Last month, the batting star took a break from the game citing personal reasons. At that time, he had not disclosed the reason behind his decision and finally revealed it this week. According to reports, he and his wife are currently in London. In his post on social media, Virat Kohli not only revealed the name of his son but also disclosed that he was born on February 15.

“With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay and Vamika’s little brother into this world! We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time. Love and gratitude,” wrote Virat Kohli.

Astrologer’s prediction for Virat Kohli goes viral:

Soon after Virat Kohli announced the birth of his son, an astrologer’s prediction about the Indian cricket star went viral on social media. The astrologer had made the prediction way back in 2016. The viral post comes from a Facebook page called “Stars and Astrology”. The post was made in April 2016 when the astrologer made several predictions about Virat Kohli’s personal and professional life.

His sixth prediction read: “Additionally, Virat will have an opportunity for another child between 2021-2024.”

The same post had gone viral on social media after last year’s ODI World Cup as well after India’s heartbreaking defeat in the final. The post claimed that the right-handed batsman will struggle with his form for a period of about 18 months starting August 2025 all the way to February of 2027 before regaining his form ahead of the 2027 World Cup.

“Virat’s career will pick up in 2027 and he will retire on a very high note before March 2028,” the post stated.

Well, fans will be hoping that the prediction turns out to be true and Kohli goes on to win another ODI World Cup before bringing down curtains on his illustrious career.
