DC vs GG Today Match Prediction- ILT20 2024 Qualifier 2, Who Will Win Today’s T20 Match? 2024

The ILT20 2024 Qualifier 2 will be played between Gulf Giants and Dubai Capitals in Sharjah on February 15, Thursday. The match starts at 8 pm IST with a place in the final up for grabs.

The winner of the Gulf Giants and Dubai Capitals Qualifier 2 match will play against MI Emirates in the final. The Emirates beat the Giants in Qualifier 1 to reach the summit clash. 

The Emirates scored 163/8 first with the bat. Contributions came from the lower order. Nicholas Pooran (36), Dawayne Bravo (30), Tim David (29) and Kieron Pollard (27* 14) did the scoring and getting their team over 160. Daniel Worrall picked up three wickets for the Giants in the first qualifier. 

Gulf Giants in their chase was out for 118 with Chris Jordan top-scoring with 31 batting at number nine. Chris Lynn (18) and Usman Khan (26) also scored some runs but that was not enough. Vijayakanth Viyaskanth picked three wickets for the Emirates, and Akeal Hosein and Waqar Salamkheil took two each.

The Dubai Capitals defeated Abu Dhabi Knight Riders in the Eliminator by 85 runs to stay alive in the tournament. Tom Banton, Tom Abell, Skinadar Raza, and skipper Sam Billings scored in their 40s to take the team to 188/5 in their 20 overs.

The Knight Riders in their chase were bowled out for just 103. They missed Andre Russell in their batting lineup. He displayed some great power-hitting skills in the Australia T20I series something that the ADKR side dearly missed.

Scott Kuggeleijn picked up four wickets with the ball. Zahir Khan and Sikandar Raza picked up two wickets each. Raza for his exploits with bat and ball was chosen as the Man of The Match. Given how they played in the Eliminator, they pose a big challenge for the Gulf side side who defeated them twice in the league stage. 

Sharjah will host eight ILT20 2024 matches including the Qualifier 2. Dubai will host 15 matches including Qualifier 1 and the final on February 17. Abu Dhabi will host 11 games including the Eliminator.

The tournament has seen a galaxy of international superstars coming together and giving us an exciting season. Every team has lost at least two games with the Vipers losing four, the most by any team. The Emirates have won four games, the most by any team.

The ILT20 2024 league stage finished on February 11 with 30 league matches. Dubai will host the Qualifier 1 on February 13. Abu Dhabi will host the Eliminator on February 14 followed by the Qualifier 2 in Sharjah on February 15. The final will be played in Dubai on February 17, Saturday.
