Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Rohit Sharma achieved a massive record in the shortest format of the game as he became only the second Indian batter to cross the milestone of 11,000 runs in the T20s, joining Virat Kohli in the elite list. 

Rohit Sharma achieved the feat in the ongoing 69th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. In what is the must-win game for MI, the skipper has led from the front and has played an exceptional innings.

While chasing the target of 201 runs, Rohit Sharma after struggling a bit initially in his innings played some magnificent strokes and led from the front. His innings have made sure that they are right on the track while chasing the mammoth target.
