In SL vs ZIM 3rd ODI, Zimbabwe opted to bat first once again. The match was reduced to 27 over per side. This time, they crumbled against Sri Lanka bowlers, getting bowled out for 96. Wanindu Hasaranga picked 7 wickets to showcase an impeccable spin attack.

Opener Joylord Gumbie was the top run-getter for Zimbabwe with his 29 runs. Other batters failed to cross the 20-run mark. During the chase, skipper Kusal Mendis hit an unbeaten 66 runs for Sri Lanka. The hosts chased down the target in 16.4 overs by 8 wickets.
