The Way to Happiness
Outdoors Club International Bulletin
In the beginning the question was: “How can I do my favorite
sport and at the same time do something effective to help others?”
The Way To Happiness Outdoors Club was started in Los Angeles, California
in 2003. So far we’ve funded 832,500 The Way To Happiness? booklets*
and started up Club chapters in other cities and countries. The more
the better.
Our goal is to flood the planet with millions and millions of copies
of this wonderful, effective booklet and thus help bring about a major
improvement in mankind’s condition.
We fund booklets by having fun! We’ve put on fishing tournaments,
shooting events, golf tournaments and a long list of other fun events
to raise money to print booklets. Our club in England is even having
a cricket match in June ‘06!
It’s very simple, three people form a The Way To Happiness Outdoors
Club Chapter. They meet and decide on their first event to raise money
to print The Way To Happiness booklets. They decide how many booklets
they’d like that event to fund and what area those booklets
will be distributed in.
Let’s say you like fishing. Recruit a number of fishermen, have
each fisherman get his friends and associates to pledge one dollar
(or $5.00 or $20.00) on each fish he catches and then everybody goes
fishing. Collect up the pledges and use the money to fund booklets.
That’s just one example.
Getting the booklets distributed is easy; the demand is huge!
This pack contains helpful data on how we’ve run several types
of events. Model your first event on this information or create a
new type of event. The important thing is to pick an event that you
will find fun! Then do more events, attract more members and have
more fun while helping more and more people by giving them the gift
of The Way To Happiness booklet. That’s the joy of The Way To
Happiness Outdoors Club.
Please look over this pack. It will give you many good ideas and answer
all sorts of detailed questions. But the simplicity of The Way To
Happiness Outdoors Club will always be: Have Fun—Help Others.
