 IT’S HERE! The Way to Happiness Outdoors Club International is very pleased to announce the recent release of our very own book, “THE BEST CAMPFIRE STORIES.” It’s a great collection of short stories, written by some very talented authors, including Outdoors Club members! These scary stories are perfect for reading around a blazing campfire, or snuggled under the covers in the comfort of your own bed late at night, with the coyotes (or maybe something else) howling away in the (near) distance. 818-425-5552
On the evening of Friday the 13th of June, The Way to Happiness Outdoors Club International held a fun-filled event to release, "THE BEST CAMPFIRE STORIES." Held at a private campground at Lake Piru (California), many of the authors were on hand to read excerpts from their scary stories. Copies of our new book were sold and several authors were on hand to sign them. Some very nice donated items were auctioned off to raise money to print more copies of The Way to Happiness booklet. The festivities even included a few random appearances by our own Outdoors Club Scary Chicken, who was gracious enough to hang around and provide autographs for admiring attendees. (Bawk, baaaaaaaawk!!)

The Way to Happiness Outdoors Club of Clearwater (Florida) is going strong with some very successful fund-raising events. Thirty-one golfers played in their recent golf tournament which raised $5,000 to print copies of The Way to Happiness booklet. And they will soon put out 48,000 copies of The Way to Happiness booklet in the Clearwater/Tampa area. For info on future events or to volunteer, call them at 727-644-9006. (Note: They also need a paid, full-time sales person.) EXPANSION NEWS We are very excited about our next Outdoors Club chapter which will be opening very soon in East Grinstead, Sussex, England! A “very well done” to The Way to Happiness Outdoors Club Clearwater for recruiting David Banks to head it up! And a “very well done” to David Banks as well. The success of The Way to Happiness Outdoors Club demands that we export it to communities all across The United States and the world. Right now, plans are in the works for Outdoors Club chapters in Houston, Austin, Seattle and Johannesburg, South Africa. Operating your own chapter of The Way to Happiness Outdoors Club would not only be incredible fun, you would also be providing such a valuable service to your community and to mankind. Thanks to Michael O'Brien and his son Christopher for donating their services to shoot and produce this DVD. We would like to thank Geoff Levin for donating the background music for it. Also, we would like to thank Mike Sullivan for creating our Outdoors Club logo which was used on this DVD cover. To date, this figure is the total number of copies of The Way to Happiness booklet we have funded. Laid out in a straight line end-to-end, this number of booklets would stretch all the way from Pasadena's Rose Bowl to Disneyland in Anaheim! And we're not going to slow down. We fully intend to hit the 1,000,000 mark by the end of 2006! There is a large demand out in society for The Way to Happiness booklet. And even with the high volume of booklets we've already funded and put out, the public demand is only increasing. Let's supply that demand right now! Let's put it out there! WEEKLY MEETINGS Regular weekly meetings are held on Wednesdays. In the Clearwater area, the meeting starts at 6:00 PM and is at their office, located at 619 Cleveland Street, Clearwater. And if you live in the greater Los Angeles area, the meeting starts at 7:30 PM and is held at The Way to Happiness Foundation International, which is located at 201 E. Broadway in Glendale.
